This Moscow-based martial arts school introduced self-defense classes with a difference on Monday, teaching students how to use selfie-sticks to combat potential attackers.
The M-Profi martial arts school designed the classes after getting requests from amateur sportsmen and women who like to travel. The fighting defense, which borrows techniques from boxing, wrestling and MMA, has been dubbed “mpd-fight” (monopod fighting), and aims to help tourists utilize the gadget when it comes to defending against potential attackers.
